What is a Viagra alternative supposed to do anyway?

There is a pretty wide divide between what makes a prescription drug a prescription drug and what makes an over-the-counter supplement available over the counter. That's why when I hear of all of these male sexual enhancement supplements being marketed as effective alternatives to Viagra and other prescription medications, I tend to be skeptical.

Testosterole is a supplement that is marketed as "a highly effective alternative to prescription drugs like Viagra." When you press the company to elaborate on what they mean exactly, you probably won't really learn anything useful. In fact, the company doesn't even seem to reveal what all the ingredients are on its Web site, which is a serious red flag.
